Our common hydraulic tools include hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic wrenches, hydraulic bolt tensioners, hydraulic pumps, etc. These hydraulic tools will be damaged or need to be repaired due to wear or improper use during and after use. The common failure in hydraulic tool maintenance is caused by incorrect use of hydraulic oil. If the amount of hydraulic oil is too small, the air in the hydraulic oil pipe, the hydraulic oil pipe joint is loose, the hydraulic oil is too dirty, or the hydraulic oil temperature is too high, it will cause the hydraulic tool to wear and accelerate, and it is prone to failure.
The amount of hydraulic oil is too low
The hydraulic oil consumption is very slow. Under normal circumstances, the hydraulic oil loss is caused by the residual hydraulic oil outside during the loading and unloading of the tubing. However, it will also cause the hydraulic oil loss under the wrong operation conditions, such as: Enpak hand tool pump in use During the process, the fuel tank cap was not tightened, the fuel pipe joints were loose, etc. Although the loss of hydraulic oil will not be much in this way, the accumulation of long time will to insufficient hydraulic oil, which will make the hydraulic tools work weak or cause great damage.
Problem solving: Remember how many liters of hydraulic oil is when the hydraulic oil tank of the hydraulic tool is filled with hydraulic oil, and add it in time when the hydraulic oil is lower than two-thirds of the oil tank.
Air enters the hydraulic tubing
Air entering the hydraulic tool tubing is very harmful, vibration, noise, cavitation, crawling, and pressure transmission is not in place, which causes the hydraulic tool to work weakly.
Problem solving: Open the vent or fuel tank cap and screw it on, and seal it.
Loose hydraulic tubing joints
Because the nut is disassembled and installed, the oil pipe joints will become loose, resulting in oil leakage and the pressing tool cannot work normally.
Problem solving: Grind the steel ball and ball seat, often check whether the joint is tightened or replace the joint.
Dirty hydraulic oil
Dirty hydraulic oil will cause the hydraulic oil to not circulate smoothly and wear down the components of hydraulic tools.
Problem solving: Replace with new hydraulic oil, or use a filter to filter the hydraulic oil clean.
The hydraulic oil temperature is too high
Generally, the reasons for the high temperature of hydraulic tool oil are radiator failure, improper selection of hydraulic oil model, etc. If the oil temperature is too high, the service life of the components of the hydraulic tool will be shortened, and it is easy to cause self-drain.
Problem solving: The oil temperature is controlled between 30~55℃, the radiator is cleaned regularly, and the hydraulic oil corresponding to the model or brand is selected.
When hydraulic tools are damaged, which affects the efficiency of industrial equipment, enterprises must also be prepared for high maintenance costs. The correct use of hydraulic oil can not only reduce the frequency of hydraulic tool repairs, but also extend the life of hydraulic tools.
